Hi, I'm Anthony Skelton and this is my photoblog.
I'm 25 years old living in sunny Santa Cruz California. Here I will share with you my pictures and photography projects. I would like to one day have photography be my full time profession but until then I have a day job working at a local NBC affiliate television station. I work as a Master Control Operator and a Technical Director and sometimes I take photos for our website. I also work part time at a movie theater as an assistant manager and projectionist, but really I just work there for the free movies.
I've been shooting with a Canon XTi for almost two years. I use four lenses in my photography: Sigma 30mm 1.4, Cannon 28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS, Canon 100mm f/2.8 Macro, Canon 10-22 f/3.5-4.5. For lighting I use two Vivitar 285HV's and two LumoPro LP120's that I trigger with pocket wizards.
I currently use my custom built PC for my organizing and post processing of my photos. I do most work in Lightroom 2, and move things into Photoshop when I need a little more power behind the processing. I also own a Powerbook G4 that I use while in the field. All my video work is also done on the Powerbook with Final Cut Pro. I backup my data on two 1TB Seagate FreeAgent Desktop hard drives.
If you have any questions or comments feel free to contact me. I'm always up for a conversation about photography or movies. You can follow me on Twitter or check out more of my pictures on Flickr. Friend me on Facebook or be my friend on Netflix.
